GBD C. 1910 Bent Billiard
A classic bent billiard from c. 1910, made by GBD shortly after they moved from France to the epicenter of pipe making of the time, London. It is surprisingly graceful, with its Algerian briar bowl of Group 3 capacity, tapered shank, sterling band, and handcut vulcanite taper bit with orific lip. Unfortunately, the date code of the London hallmarks has been smoothed by time and polish; but it appears to be for 1910, which is congruent with the size and type of bit. Otherwise, outstanding condition.
