Peterson c. 1930 Killarny Sandblasted Canadian
Petersons have been popular for well over 100 years, in part because of the unique Irish sensibility they bring to the classical shapes. Consider this nice Canadian: it has a very unusual Group 4 capacity bowl, whose outer edge is distinctly rounded, and whose inner edge is straight, making it appear to be canted forward on the rather delicate oval shank, with its short, handcut "P" lip bit. It has a nice craggy blast, a true black color, and is light as a feather.
Pre-Republic Petersons are rightly known as having a peculiar affinity for Virginia tobaccos, for reasons that I do not understand, and this should be no exception. It's in remarkable condition in all regards, and deserves your serious consideration.
