Elliott Nachwalter The Briar Workshop Smooth Bent Dublin


Pipe makers at the briar workshop often crafted really nice straight-grain pieces. This dublin has really nice plateau, and is highly darkened (somewhat from smoking, some from stain). The shank just barely seems to hold the massive bowl, since it is so delicate, but it's all in the details.
